Comprehensive Education and Counseling (Tinnitus Counseling)

Lenire Treatment
Lenire is a bimodal stimulation treatment that we offer at HörSys GmbH since late 2019.
Our experience with Lenire
- HörSys GmbH was the first distribution partner for Lenire outside Ireland (the manufacturer’s headquarters) and outside the clinical studies conducted beforehand.
- Very safe treatment: over 10,000 devices distributed worldwide, no single serious adverse effect known.
International availability
Lenire is now available in many European countries, in the USA since 2023, approved in Canada since autumn 2025 (market launch spring 2026) and also approved in Australia since autumn 2025 (market launch is planned for mid 2026).
Evidence assessment
Tinnitus UK has placed Lenire on the same evidence level as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in 2025. Lenire is one of only three treatments at this evidence level – alongside hearing aids and CBT.

Acceptance Therapy
Acceptance therapy does not stand for a single, fixed procedure, but for a toolkit of different approaches that we combine individually.
What we offer:
- Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) / Tinnitus Management Therapy (TMT)
- Elements from Cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
TRT & Sound Enrichment
As part of TRT, we advise you on sound enrichment in everyday life. If necessary, noisers can be used – if you have hearing loss, hearing aids can be a sensible option.
